Plenty: The Aftermath

Graphite on paper
24 by 17 inches

The piece was inspired by title that was given to me - Plenty. The fork represents the vast amount of resources we have here in North America, especially food. The big feast is now over and this is the aftermath, the fork in the sink. Eat up!

Mi Corazon (My heart)

Acrylic on Canvas
27 by 31 inches

Like the painting my last relationship was very chaotic and a mess to say the least. At least it inspired this piece, which is one of my favourite.

The piece hangs on the wall by tape to represent how wrong it all was. Just like the relationship was wrong so does the painting look hanging on the wall by black binding tape.

Mariposa

Acrylic and Ink on Canvas
24 by 20 inches

Originally started as a dying fairy and evolved into a beautiful butterfly.

The assignment was to find an image in the blots of ink.
