This is the painting of a tree in the forest behind Durham College. It was really wet and I was wearing heels when my art teacher asked me to go find something to paint. Heels and mud = bad situation

I saw this tree shining in the morning sun and thought it looked very interesting. I just loved the way the sun was reflecting off of it and the moss is so beautiful. It was a great learning experience to paint the moss.
